halloween-parade

On Tuesday, October 31 our students can participate in a costume parade at school. Students should come to school with their costumes worn over their school uniforms. Students should bring an extra bag to store and carry their costumes home after the parade. 

 

Parade Schedule

8:45am - 9:45am

All classes will join the school-wide costume parade on the blacktop area. Families are welcome to watch. All adults must sign in at the front office.

9:45 - 10:00

Students will change out of their costumes and normal school activities will commence at 10:00 am. All adults must leave campus at 10:00 am. 

Rules and Guidelines:
Costumes should be appropriate for elementary school children. Costumes should not be scary or revealing. We encourage students to wear no make-up and no hair coloring. During the parade, students may wear a mask, but the mask must be see-through and breathable. No weapons or sharp objects of any kind (fake or real) are allowed. No high heel shoes allowed. Shoes should be closed toe and suitable for walking. There should be no blood or gore displayed on any part of the costume or make-up. Inappropriate or dangerous items will be taken away and stored in the office for pick up after school. Please make sure your child is within the guidelines.

         El martes 31 de octubre nuestros estudiantes pueden participar en un desfile de disfraces en la escuela para Halloween. Los estudiantes deben venir a la escuela con sus trajes puestos ​​por encima de sus uniformes. Los estudiantes deben traer una bolsa adicional para transportar su traje después del desfile.

 

 

Horario del desfile

 

8:45 am - 9:45 am    Todas las clases se juntaran para el desfile de disfraces en el área asfaltada. Las familias son bienvenidos llegar y a ver el desfile. Todos los adultos deben firmar en la oficina como visitadores.

 

9:45-10:00 los estudiantes se cambiaran fuera de sus trajes y las actividades normales comenzaran y  los adultos deben salir de la escuela.

 

Normas y Expectativas:

Los disfraces deben ser apropiados para niños de primaria. Los disfraces no deben dar miedo o ser reveladores. Animamos a los estudiantes que no usen maquillaje o coloración del cabello. Durante el desfile los estudiantes pueden usar una máscara, pero la cara del niño/a  debe ser visible.Tambien,  máscara debe ser respirable. No se permiten armas u objetos cortantes de cualquier tipo (falso o verdadero). Los zapatos deben ser cómodos  para caminar, de punta cerrada y sin tacón alto. No debe mostrar sangre. Los artículos inapropiados o peligrosos serán confiscados y llevados a  la oficina. Podrán ser recogidos  después de la escuela. Por favor asegúrese de que su hijo/a  respete  las reglas señaladas.

This is reminder that Montague Elementary's Back to School Night will be held Tuesday, August 22 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Back to School Night is an informational event for parents and guardians only. Students are to stay home because there is no supervision at Back to School Night. The event will begin promptly at 6pm in the multi-purpose room followed by teacher presentations in their respective classrooms. We hope to see many parents and guardians on this evening.

6:30-7:00   Session 1 (all teachers/grade levels present)

Office will re-open on: August 7, 2017 (Summer Office Hours:  9:00-1:00)

 

Proof of residency and registration dates:

Monday 8/7/17         9:00 – 1:00pm

You MUST have 3 current (within 30 days) documents + copy for the office

We will NOT be taking Proof of Residency or Registration on the First Day of School.

 

**** Missing Immunizations or missing Proof of Residency will prevent your child from being posted in a class on 8/14/17.
