I was born and raised in the bay area. I graduated from Peterson High School in Santa Clara then attended the University of Arizona on a softball Scholarship. I returned to California and began coaching softball at Santa Clara High School ('85-'88). After a few years of working in childcare and volunteering at an elementary school, I decided to return to school and get a teaching credential. I began teaching in 1993. I joined the Montague staff in 1995. I have taught 1st grade (with a few combos) for 17 years and 5th grade for 8 years, I have worked with the PTO, organized Ocean Week (14 years), lead Montague Girl Scout troop (9 years), organized Montague Science Fair (10 years), Yearbook (8 years) and counting. I am married, with no children. I plan to retire soon and spend my days volunteering, traveling, reading, painting, and watching Star Wars.
