Principal's Welcome Message

Greetings Parents and Families of Montague Elementary School:

It is with great pride and excitement that we embark on another year at Montague Elementary. I began my career in education right here at Montague 13 years ago as a teacher and I am thrilled to continue to serve this community for the second year as the principal.  I’m very passionate about education and I look forward to partnering with families and community to provide our students with a rigorous and engaging learning experience. More importantly, I want every child to feel safe, welcomed, and connected as part of the Montague Elementary family. As the father of two children ages 6 and 8, I recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and I believe that by working together we can make sure every child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.

I am fully confident in Montague’s dedicated and talented staff. Our main goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality of education possible in a safe and supportive learning environment.  Working together as a team with our staff and parents, we are committed to helping each student achieve their very best.  Every student is valued and worthy of our best effort.
